Small and medium-sized companies (SMEs)\u00a0in the export field have been\u00a0severely affected by the strong Swiss franc. One way of combatting this is to continue to innovate at all times.\u00a0 In order to\u00a0encourage this practice, the federal council has approved\u00a0special measures by the\u00a0CTI<\/strong> to promote innovation amounting to\u00a061 million Swiss francs. These conditions are only available until the end of\u00a02016.<\/p>\n

These measures exist in particular to exempt an industrial partner in a CTI project from the 10% cash\u00a0contribution\u00a0that\u00a0they would normally have to pay.\u00a0 Moreover, their participation towards the overall costs of the project may be reduced\u00a0to 30% (usually : >50%).<\/p>\n

These special conditions are reserved for Swiss SMEs of less than\u00a0250 employees, that achieve at least\u00a050% of their turnover by export, or that work\u00a0as a subcontractor for exporting companies.<\/p>\n
