P&TS took part in the\u00a0Sino-Swiss Women\u2019s Forum 2017 in Chengdu,\u00a0 China, 16-17 November 2017.\u00a0 The topic was: \u00ab\u00a0Connect for Entrepreneurship, Research, Management and Education.”\u00a0 There were about\u00a0300 attendees at this\u00a0forum, including a Swiss delegation of about twenty people.<\/p>\n

Annora Ho, Senior Foreign Filing Officer at P&TS, made a\u00a0presentation “Mixing the Traditional with the Cutting Edge.”\u00a0\u00a0She spoke about Switzerland, the rankings in terms of\u00a0innovation, and of the canton of\u00a0Neuch\u00e2tel, also at the forefront of innovation.\u00a0 Many Swiss inventions in the fields of\u00a0watchmaking,\u00a0med-tech and\u00a0aviation (Solar Impulse) were mentioned.\u00a0 Annora’s speech underlined the importance of intellectual property in the protection of inventions\u00a0resulting from this innovation dynamic and explained the range of services that\u00a0P&TS has to offer to innovative companies.<\/p>\n
