Die Europ\u00e4ische Union (EU) schafft im Rahmen einer verst\u00e4rkten Zusammenarbeit2 einen einheitlichen Patenttitel3 und ein einheitliches Patentgericht4. Auch das eidgen\u00f6ssische Institut f\u00fcr geistiges Eigentum (IGE) denkt offen \u00fcber strukturelle Reformen des Schutzes f\u00fcr technische Erfindungen in der Schweiz nach. In diesem Rahmen spielt das IGE mit dem Gedanken der Einf\u00fchrung einer Vollpr\u00fcfung des Schweizer Patents, die auch Neuheit und erfinderische T\u00e4tigkeit beinhaltet, der Etablierung einer Neuheitsschonfrist f\u00fcr Offenbarungen des Erfinders und der Einf\u00fchrung eines Gebrauchsmusters. In diesem Rahmen hat das IGE eine Studie durchf\u00fchren lassen, die diese Fragen unter Ber\u00fccksichtigung der beteiligten Kreise analysiert5. In diesem Artikel sollen die Ergebnisse der Studie und die m\u00f6glichen Szenarien kurz diskutiert werden.
