Adrian studied International Business and Economics at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies (Romania) and at the Universitat de Barcelona (Spain) and is now studying towards his Executive MBA title from the Bernese University of Applied Sciences (Switzerland).
He started his professional life twenty years ago in the remote customer relationship management team of a very renowned Business Process Outsourcing French company. It is here that Adrian developed his understanding and deep conviction that, before all, one needs to really understand what brings value to each client, in order to be successful.
Following that, he spent four years in the United Arab Emirates, first teaching Economics and Business, then coordinating the recruitment of teachers for a large network of international schools. This was a great chance of getting in contact with fascinating new cultures and to witness the incredible pace of development of this region.
Between 2008 and February 2022 Adrian managed international teams and complex projects for the British Council, the UK’s international cultural organisation, in Romania, Switzerland and as part of the EU regional management team. Challenging the status quo, propose improvements and innovations to make clients’ and colleagues’ life easier, support and guide his teams during uncertain periods of organisational changes, all that while finding an optimal balance between income and expenses – this diversity of roles and challenges was a continuous motivation for Adrian.
With P&TS SA since March 2022, Adrian leads the administrative and the finance teams, manages the continuous improvement of processes, and special projects. He supports the CEO, the executive directors and the Board of the company with setting the medium- and long-term strategy and making top level decisions.
In his free time Adrian is out in the family garden with his wife, takes good care of his tomatoes, hikes in the Swiss mountains or rides his bicycle in the Region of the Three Lakes. Longer holidays are for visiting more remote places and countries.
