Anne-Kristine Kjelsen
Patent Formalities Officer / Executive Assistant
Languages: English, French and German.
I am delighted to return to the P&TS ecosystem, bringing with me a career defined by a deep commitment to intellectual property and enthusiasm for operational and organisational excellence. After spending the first two decades of my career managing international IP portfolios in Switzerland, I pivoted to broaden my impact through commercial operations and data strategy in an Irish context, where I notably partnered with leadership to achieve a five-fold increase in net profit through rigorous process optimization and data-driven estimation. In 2025, I formalized this evolution with a First-Class Honours Graduate Diploma in Management & Business Analytics from Dublin City University, equipping myself with advanced skills in AI strategy, predictive modelling and data governance.
In my new role at P&TS, I am focused on bridging the gap between traditional IP management, which remains my passion, and modern executive decision-making, acting as a strategic partner to the CEO and utilizing data foresight and structural planning to support management decisions. My goal is to ensure that our function is a dynamic driver of business value for our clients.
My professional life is underpinned by a strong foundation in diplomacy and conflict resolution. I serve as Swiss Honorary Consul in the southwest of Ireland and as a Peace Commissioner for the Irish Department of Justice. Additionally, I am a certified Irish and international mediator and a former active volunteer with the Irish Coast Guard. These roles have honed my ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments with diplomatic rigor and resilience.
Fluent in English, French and German as well as Swiss German, I thrive in cross-cultural settings and am eager to contribute to P&TS’s continued success.
