Patent Formalities Manager, 80% to 100%
JOB PROFILE
The position is available immediately or by agreement, based in Neuchâtel, with the possibility of partial teleworking.
Attached to the administrative team, this position includes the following activities:
- Independent management of a portfolio of national or international clients in the administrative follow-up of the steps involved in filing and obtaining patents, in partnership with the patent engineer responsible for the client;
- Recording of specific activities per client, calculation of fees, issuance and sending of invoices to the client;
- Filing and monitoring patents in Switzerland, Europe, and internationally; preparing documents and communicating with clients, various patent offices, and a network of correspondents in 65 countries;
- Providing cost estimates and information about the procedure;
- Other administrative tasks assigned by the administration manager or necessary for the smooth running of the company’s business.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
If you already have work experience in a patent consulting firm, an intellectual property management department, or a law firm, you have a CFC commercial employee certificate or a paralegal diploma, you are comfortable with computer tools, your written and spoken French is perfect, can read and write English without difficulty, and also have at least a passive knowledge of German, write to us!

2. We are looking for a
Patent Analyst (M/F), 80 to 100%
JOB PROFILE
The position is available immediately, based in Neuchâtel (Switzerland), with the possibility of partial teleworking.
It includes the following activities:
- Conducting online prior art searches (patents & scientific/technical literature);
- Conducting freedom to operate (FTO) and patent validity searches;
- Setting up and managing technology and competitive monitoring (IP monitoring);
- Analyzing the patentability of inventions and the validity of patents in collaboration with internal patent attorneys;
- Assisting with patent litigation and disputes;
- Identifying technological trends and IP risks/opportunities;
- Collaborating with industrial property attorneys, paralegals, and in-house lawyers.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
We are looking for a candidate with a degree in physics or mechanical, microtechnology, or electrical engineering from EPF or an equivalent institution. Initial experience in patent research is desirable. QPIP certification is an asset—or, failing that, a motivation to obtain it in the near future.
With an analytical mind, excellent general scientific knowledge, great rigor, and a keen sense of synthesis, you are able to produce clear and structured analyses and collaborate effectively with clients and your patent attorney, legal, and paralegal colleagues.
Excellent written and spoken French and a professional level of English are required.

3. We are looking for a
Lawyer/attorney specializing in innovation law (100%)
JOB PROFILE
The position is available immediately. It is based in Neuchâtel.
The position includes the following responsibilities:
- Advice and contracts relating to copyright, particularly for software.
- Advice and contracts relating to artificial intelligence.
- Advice on data protection and GDPR.
- Legal advice on IT project management, particularly in relation to cloud hosting, data protection, and internationalization.
- Drafting and negotiating intellectual property contracts, including confidentiality agreements, license agreements, development agreements, and intellectual property rights transfer agreements.
- Supporting clients and patent attorneys in intellectual property law matters, such as ownership issues, invention rights, etc.
- Supporting patent attorneys in patent and design disputes and oppositions.
- Giving presentations and communicating on the above topics.
- Acquiring and developing a client portfolio.
- Contribute to the development of the innovation law division within P&TS.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Knowledge:
- Master’s degree in law. A bar exam is a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in software and/or intellectual property law.
- Appetite for technology and innovation, particularly in the IT field.
- Fluent in French and English, at least passive knowledge of German.
- Rigorous, proactive, versatile, and able to manage priorities.
- Eager and able to develop new legal services independently.
