The company Infrascreen, which is active in the field of sustainable agriculture, has just won the BCN Innovation Prize, one of the best endowed innovation prizes in Switzerland. The prize was presented on the premises of the Cantonal Bank of Neuchâtel during a live broadcast on Canal Alpha television.
Infrascreen is developing a new generation of thermal screens that will make it possible to heat a greenhouse more efficiently, while ensuring the transmission of the solar spectrum necessary for plant photosynthesis.
The project has been supported by P&TS in intellectual property matters since its early days in 2018. We are very proud to have collaborated in this way on an eco-responsible and innovative project, which is expected to reduce greenhouse energy consumption by 40%.
