After completing her professional training as a commercial employee, she worked as a legal secretary in a law firm in Neuchâtel. She then flew to Scotland to perfect her English. She worked for a year at Cawdor Castle, notably as a sales advisor in the Gift Shop and as a tour guide.
On her return to Switzerland, Rachel joined an international company based in Neuchâtel, where she discovered intellectual property. She specialised in trademark law and practised as a paralegal for over ten years.
In 2021, she obtained her certification as a Trade Mark Paralegal, awarded by The Chartered Institute of Trade Mark Attorney (London), of which she has been a member ever since.
Rachel loves Scotland and loves to write. So in her spare time, Rachel is a writer. She has four published novels and a story to her credit. She flies directly to Scotland every chance she gets. She can also be found hiking in Switzerland and elsewhere with her Border Collie, Lou.
