Timo Blattner holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Bern, specializing in deep learning and computer vision. During his studies, he worked as a research engineer at the Department of Neuroradiology at Bern University Hospital, where he developed AI-based pipelines for medical image analysis.

His research led him to collaborate with international institutions, including the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and Newcastle University, across various research domains.

Timo joined P&TS in 2026 as a software engineer, where he leads the development of internal tools and AI solutions. His experience in interdisciplinary environments allows him to quickly adapt to new fields, including IP.

Outside of work, Timo enjoys cycling, skiing, and traveling.
