Intellectual property strategy for the transfer of knowledge and technology.
For the programme and further details, see the document below (in French).
During this conference, Christophe Saam will give a lecture (in French) on Thursday 8th December at 16:00. Here is a summary of the contents :
The number of transactions in terms of intellectual property remains quite limited compared to the number of patents and other IP titles registered each year. As a result, many promising inventions remain largely unexploited.
There are many reasons for this, but different strategies can be put in place to remedy the situation. This allows inventors to increase their chances of finding an industrial partner capable of producing, financing or distributing their inventions. On the other hand, it enables companies to benefit from an open innovation system and in many cases to acquire technologies at a reasonable price that have been developed by third parties who do not have the means to develop them themselves.
Christophe Saam will address these questions and suggest some strategies during his presentation entitled : ” IP strategy for buyers and sellers of technology”, on Thursday 8th December at 16.00.
