We are currently seeking to recruit for our Neuchâtel office a:
Patent attorney, French-English, in Neuchâtel
The main responsibilities consist of:
– Patent applications: the analysis of invention announcements, strategy proposals, patentability searches, drafting patent applications in French and English, examining applications.
– Searches: patentability searches, freedom-to-operate searches, in collaboration with our team of patent information analysts.
– Audits: IP roadmaps, IP assessments.
– Business Development: management and independent development of client portfolios.
Preference will be given to a qualified patent attorney with prior experience of at least 4 years in a service or an IP firm. The candidate must be able to conduct meetings in French and in English and be able to draft in these two languages; an at least passive knowledge of German is also required. We are particularly looking for candidates with an initial qualification as a physicist, electrical engineer, mechanical and/or microtechnology engineer.
