P&TS was founded in 1998, 20 years ago. After travelling throughout the mountains of the Arab peninsula for several weeks, upon his return to Switzerland, Christophe Saam decided to set up P&TS SA. Since then the company has grown significantly both in size and reputation to become one of the main patent attorney firms in Switzerland. It is now recognized as a key player in intellectual property.
To mark this important milestone and celebrate this achievement, the P&TS staff from both the Neuchâtel and Zurich offices made a trip to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates from 14-18th September 2018. They thus returned close to where it all began to a city that more than any other perhaps has a relationship void of any complexes between tradition and the future, while constantly reinventing itself thanks to progress and innovation. A group of 20 thoroughly enjoyed a few days in this ultra-modern, innovative city where a complex road system and futuristic buildings break records of height and size while coexisting with the old part of town with its souks and street-sellers
The highlights were visiting the tallest tower in the world, the Burj Khalifa (828 metres), a boat trip to admire the city’s skyline from the sea and a trip into the desert by Jeep to visit a nature reserve.
